Ellie Martinson awakes to a nightmare of terror: She is naked, chained to the floor in a dungeon, subjected to continuous torment by her silent captor. As the days and weeks pass by, it becomes clear to Ellie that she is being trained to be a sex slave! She tries to resist, but finds herself being drawn into the lifestyle. When she is finally sold to a new master, she is conditioned to obey and allows herself to be used and degraded without complaint. But hope appears in the form of her new master’s son, an ex-Marine who is visiting his father. She begins to reawaken her old self and finds he’s responding to her as well. But he’s reluctant to defy his father. Can love flower under such impossible circumstances?
The young Asian girl rolled Ellie Martinson onto her stomach and began to rub something soothing into the welts across her ass. Ellie sucked in her breath, but didn’t say anything. She was shocked when the nude girl spoke to her - it was the first time she had heard a voice other than her own in weeks.
“Don’t fight him. He likes to hurt us,” she whispered. “It’s better if you just do as he says.”
“Wh-who are you? Why am I here? How long have you been here?” The questions poured out of her. The girl hushed her, urging her to whisper. “He may hear. He has listening devices and cameras everywhere. My name is Angie. I’ve been here quite a while - I don’t know how long. I was kidnapped, just like you.”
Ellie was shaking, shivering as if cold, though her body temperature was normal. “What does he want with me?” she breathed out.
“Isn’t that obvious? He’s making you into a sex slave, like me.” Her voice, her manner, seemed odd to Ellie. Like she was hollow somehow.
“But - but,” she began to cry. “I don’t want to be here. I’ve got to get out of here. I have a job, family!”
“I know. I felt the same way. But there’s no escape. We’re just here now and we have to make the best of it. You’ll see - it’s not so bad when you just do what he says.”
The image of Angie spreading herself for the brutal man came into her mind. “Who is he? Does he ever talk to you?”
“Yes, he talks, after a while. The only name I am allowed to call him is Master.”
Master! Shit. I’ll call him Asshole, she thought. “What do you mean, ‘after a while?’ When will he talk to me?”
“After you’re sufficiently trained.”
A shiver went through her and she lost control of her voice for a moment. Why me? she wondered again. “How can we get out of here? Have you found a way?”
“There is no way. We’re underground and he has the only access to the surface.” She paused. “It’s not so bad here after you learn to obey him.”
Angie’s almost rote response chilled Ellie. The girl was clearly broken in mind and spirit. She would be no help, although Ellie promised herself that when she escaped, she’d send the police back for her. A thought struck her. “Are there other girls here?”
“Oh, yes. There are two more. They are undergoing training, just like you.”
“Where are they?”
“In other rooms, like this. But you can’t see them. They aren’t ready.”
“How long will it be before they’re ‘ready’? For that matter, how long before I’m ready?”
“Oh, that varies. Master has great patience. Each girl goes at her own pace. When you’re ready, he’ll know it.”
Angie got up to leave. “I’ll leave you to rest. I’ll bring you some more water later,” she said. “I’m afraid Master won’t be bringing you any food for a while. If I were you, I wouldn’t try to bite him anymore.”
Ellie was desperate to talk now that the long silence had been broken. “How old are you anyway?”
Angie looked off into the distance, as if trying to remember something from her past life. “I don’t know. I was 19 when I got here, but that was a long time ago.” She turned away.
“Wait!” Ellie whispered loudly. “Can’t you untie me? My arms hurt.”
She shook her head. “Master wouldn’t like that.”
“Can’t I get my clothes back?”
Angie stared at her as if she had spoken Latin. “Slaves don’t wear clothes,” she finally said, as if explaining to a child.
Then, without another word, she turned and left.
Ellie put her head down on the rug and wept…
