Hello, Readers! Coming up soon is my new book, “Eighteen & Desperate,” the story ripped from the headlines. I was watching the news the other day and because of California’s budget crisis, many young people in group homes are being tossed out when they turn 18, although they have no job, no skills and some haven’t even finished high school. All the safey net programs have been cut. So what happens to them? Well, that’s where my imagination took over—I pictured young Melissa, about to graduate high school but she has to move out of her orphanage. Who’s going to save her? What will she do if she can’t find a job? I’m just finishing this story up, but I expect it will be available on Kindle and Renaissance Ebooks by the end of August. A print book via Amazon will follow shortly thereafter.

Lot of activity to report—three new books, plus the re-release of another. Look for “Landlord Ladies: Desperate Women in Difficult Times” to land in paperback this month, plus be featured as an ebook at Renaissance (Sizzler), www.renebooks.com. Also just out, “Trained in Two Weeks” and “Her Personal Assistant.” Both are out as ebooks and are being processed for print right now. Finally, I re-wrote and updated “The Cheater” and “Corruption of an Innocent Girl” and am pairing them together in print. “The Cheater” has never been in print before and I think my readers will enjoy the updated version of “Corruption.”

My next newsletter will be coming out May 4. If you would like to receive it, drop me a note at jwmckenna555@hotmail.com and I’ll add your email address. This month, I talk about two new books that have been released in print, “Her Personal Assistant” and “Trained in Two Weeks.” I also discuss a new book I’m working on about “desperate women” who will do just about anything to avoid eviction.

Welcome! I’ve been busy lately, which is good. My move to California back in October left me dazzled by sunshine for a good two months. I couldn’t stop grinning as I imagined my former self back in in the Midwest, freezing while waiting for winter’s snowstorms. (And I’ve since heard that this winter has been particularly brutal.) California takes some getting used to!
I haven’t been completely useless. In December, I shipped my new, updated version of “Out of Control II” to Renaissance E-Books. Like I did with “Out of Control” back in September, I removed some stories from this anthology, added some others and updated the covers to makes them more attractive to readers.
In January, I sent the first of two novelettes to Renaissance that will later be packaged into one book. The first is called “Punish the Slaves.” It tells the story of how a man uses simple corporal punishment to train women to be excellent sex slaves. The second, which will come out in March, is titled, “Her Personal Assistant.” A rich widow gets a surprising visit from a man hired by her late husband! More on this later.

“Training Bra” will be coming out this month. Marti loves her new bra—but it seems to be subtly controlling her libido!
I’m currently working on “Kyla’s Sexy Soldier”, the story of an American woman who sponsors a former Ugandan child soldier to come live in the U.S. He stays with her for a few years, growing into a man, and their relationship deepens. She finds she really likes having a masterful “man’s man” around the house!
